HOW TO GET HERE

Valsesia is one of the Alpine Valleys which can be most easily reached thanks to the efficient ways of communication, roads and motorways which connect it. In fact, recent studies have revealed that over six million people, with a minimum motor mileage of two hours from the farthest point, can arrive and enjoy our tourist resources. This significant fact allows all the inhabitants of north-western Italy, where some of the biggest metropolitan areas are grouped (Turin and Milan are  about an hour’s drive from Valsesia) to exploit their holidays and weekends, limiting their travelling expenses which generally bear heavily on overall expediture. Of course also trains and daily motorcoaches connect Valsesia with important Italian cities. All this, combined with the remaining national and European road network, and the proximity of international airports (Malpensa  40 minutes away) is a clear inducement, for both Italians and foreigners, to discover it immediately.In addition – and this is the fruit of various agreements completed over time and developed through active cooperation – for the partecipants in the activities of the Valsesia Trial School the prices for the stay will be  considerably below average.

CONNECTIONS
Valsesia is connected with the main Italian towns by railway (Novara-Varallo line). Daily motorcoaches connect the valley with Milan, Turin, Vercelli and Novara, while in summer there are numerous connections with Genoa and Liguria, with Vigevano and the Lomellina area, with Gabicce Mare and the Adriatic Coast, Florence and Rome. Varallo is 51.5 Km from the Agognate motorway exit (from and to Milan), 44.5 Km from the Greggio motorway exit (from and to Turin), 30 Km from the Romagnano-Ghemme motorway exit (from and to Genoa). All the villages of the Upper Valley are connected with Varallo by the ATAP line motorcoaches.
